liver biopsy

1 and 1/2 yrs ago, before I started treatment with Interferon & ribaciron, I had a liver biopsy which, the doctor told me, showed no signs of fibrosis. Now, after 12 mos of therapy, I just took a blood test and found out I failed the therapy. My question is twofold. Number 1: the nurse just told me that my biopsy was a Stage II. Exactly what does that mean? Number 2: Is there really nothing else I can do except wait for the time when I'll need a liver transplant???

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate having this site. Keep up the good work.
