As bali mentions.. elevated enzymes(especially only slightly won"t tell you much) Have a PCR and find out if you have relapsed.
Hopfully not ,but that is the only way to know..
Good luck..

thats what i'm afraid of..they seem to be going up slowly...about a week after tx i didn't eat the best food...didn't drink any alcohol and won't...i'm hoping its just eating junk after tx or the change to a new diet last week...i see a lot of protein can cause ammonia levels to go up and after tx.... i did increase my protein after tx...so maybe that caused me to have elevated ammonia...i think i'll get another enzyme test next week......thanks all.....billy
Billy, the increase in ALT and AST was an indicator or relapse for me. Mine went for 22/20 at EOT to 52/58 at post 10 weeks and reached a high of 83/114 4 months after treatment. Then it settled back into the 20s where mine normally stays, even when Hep C positive. So for me those spikes indicated that the virus returned. I hope this is not the case for you.

Don`t make yourself crazy with fluctuating liver enzymes.
All what counts are the next PCRs.
BTW , an ALT of 31 does`nt look much like a relapse to me ....

By the way they were much higher than yours.,, yours are still within normal range... but would be nice if they were lower.
that seems like a kind of quick elevation I sure like the first ones better, are you und? Are you taking any other meds? I saw someone in the hospital with high elevated enzymes due to accutane...
