After 1 1/2 years of pain in my liver area - I had my gallbladder removed, but the pain was still there. I did have a hemangeoma that had changed in size from 3 cm to 7.5 and it was determined that this was the problem. My liver was enlarged and the pain was increasing. I had surgery to have it removed a year ago. The pain is still there. My Dr. said it is not possible and that the hemangeoma could not have been the problem. I was tested for everything else before this was determined the cause. The pain is in the upper area under my rib cage and moves to the back. Sleeping on that side is impossible.
