I had a quick look at your earlier posts and you are clearly fighting a tough battle with cirrhosis.
There are people here who have had transplants and they all say it was a wonderful life saving intervention.
Perhaps some of them will comment for you.

I know two persons who had liver transplants-one in 93 and one in 2007.  Both are happy and in good condition.  The one from 93 had some problems with Sandimmune (anti-rejection drug) and has to have dialysis 3 xs a wk but happy to be alive is trying to find a kidney and someone to do the transplant. The one from 2007s only complaint is the number of medications he has to take every day several xs a day.  I believe Bill-a long standing member of this forum had a transplant and from his posts I think he is doing great except he has a craving for chicken liver casserole-see his post on Organ Meats in the Social.  He seems to be a nice fellow and is really helpful maybe you could leave him a note.  Good luck!

I just had a transplant in mid-April. Since I didn't have insurance, I went outside the country for my operation. I had a live liver tp with my daughter as my donor.
If you are at all interested in live liver transplants, check and see if your insurance will cover one.
One advantage to doing a live liver is you don't have to wait to be the sickest person with a high meld score to have your surgery.

I chose the hospital I went to because of thier great survival rates for donors. ( they claim no donor mortalites and few complications).

I can only speak for myself, but I am feeling SOOOO good now.
I had no idea how sick I was before.
You take meds afterwards which do have side effects for me they are fairly minor.
I truly feel reborn in the best possible way.

Please feel free to send me a message with any questions and I'll try to help.
  Sincerely,               OH

From the mouth of renowned Hepatologist Robert Gish, when the MELD score reaches 15, it's time to be put on the liver transplant list...
