is marijuana dangerous to your liver!  i know its illegal but its the only thing that seems to help with the joint pain since my stupids dr wont give me any pain meds

Marijuana was always thought to be no issue with liver disease in the past, but a recent article did show that it causes progression of fibrosis faster than those patients who did not smoke marijuana. However occaisonal use, just like occaisonal use of alcohol is probably not going to be a major problem as long as it does not interfere with your job or life. Good luck! DTD
