Have you had a biopsy, and if so, do have any liver damage? Everybody is different. I am Stage 1 Grade 1 and can take pretty much anything. I have tried Motrin, Extra Strength Tylenol, Excedrin and Aleve for the headaches I get from treatment. None of those worked, so I use Tramadol, a prescription. The condition of your liver is the key to what the real answer to this question is. Your doctor can best answer it. Good luck.

I agree with annie, check with your Doc. first!

I Take OTC Tylenol extra strength, and am prescribed Ibuprofen 600 mg.

I'm Geno Type 1, and in week 42.

Good Luck.
