methadone hep c and valium

I have been on methadone for 4 months now and I have hep c and I was clean and my urine came up clean 3 times but n june my dog died which then I did take 20 mg of valium.
I was tested and it came up and then 21 days later was tested again and it still is in my system.
I could not believe it so Ibought on Over the counter drug test and yes it was still there is that normal?

Yes a long time for a drug to stay in your system for sure, but it does happen with that type of drug.  I don't know the reason why but here's a link you can look at.
