methadone treatment?

i just finish methadone treatment(detoxed) but im still felling pain how long this would last?

How much was your dose? I walked off methadone at 6mg in August of this year. I felt like **** for about 5 days, had a hard time sleeping, leg cramps, etc.. and I had diaherra (diarrhea) for about 2 months.
All I can tell you is that it will get better. Stay positive

  It depends on how fast you detoxed and what dosage you were on and for how long. Some people that have been on it for a long time can feel side effects for up to 1 year.

  It won't kill you, just hang in there it is better than being handcuffed to that ****. When you are on it you have to run your life around the medication. If you want to go on vacation you have to get an ok in advance so that they will have extra meds for you when you leave etc.

   I know it is hard but just deal with it, it does get better. And don't dip and dab (you know what I mean).

All things pass. Give yourself a month on the physical part of withdrawal . The mental part is the most difficult. It lasts about 6-9 months. Remember opiates mimic endorphins which relieve pain and cause good sensations. Your brain has shut down production partially. This the hardest part for me. In about 6-9 months you will feel like a cloud has been removed. It is very nice. White knuckle it if you must, just remember , things WILL get better. For me it was nine months almost to the day. I even remember the very day, July 11, it was that noticeable. I was on for 8 years at 60 - 80 mg.

yes i agree ,im on suboxone but free gov hand out will end after a yr. i already cut my does in half,during tx but i DO feel more pain .i think its just reaity of a life w out drugs or antagonists   very scared be cause i am 5 yrs clean from heroin AND drink  anyway im out   see ya
