by looking4help88, Jun 19, 2008 04:22PM
im new to this so im not to sure how it works. my husband was told the had neg hep c in the late 70s well we meet in 1988 and he told me then, every time he ever went to a doctor we ALWAYS told them about the hep c . what i dont understand is that our family doc never told us about treatments.  he had been seeing him in the mid 90s well this year he got sick and ended up in the hospital. and that is were they found the tumors and he had cirrhosis so we need a transplant . today i got a call and the doctors said he couldnt get a good liver so he has to be put on the list for a liver that has hep b . i just wanted to know if you can give an organ if you have hep. of any kind?

Perhaps someone in the Transplant forum can help you.  I am not that knowledgeable on TP.

Good luck and god bless.
