NO. Your body produced the antibodies in order to fight off the virus... it is the virus that is infective. If you have no virus, you aren't contagious.

Have you done testing to confirm no active virus as this is important? How do youknow your body fought it off????If it did indeed fight it off you will always test positive for the antibodies.

Need more data. Personally, even after I'm SVR, I'll still treat my blood with special caution where others are concerned. I'm sure all of us will.

As mentioned, many times the antibodies last a long, long time, even for life. Seems I heard the number "20 years" tossed around.

Have you had a PCR test for active virus?

A lucky few people manage to fight off the virus without treatment.

If you haven't had a Pcr qualitative test, which checks for the virus in your bloodstream,

do that.  Hopefully, your result will be 'undetected.'  if so, you will probably keep the

antibody for the rest of your life, though a lucky few manage to lose the antibody

after many years, usually several ecades.  the antibody is not a health concern to

you or anyone else but you cannot donate blood or organs.
