Sorry about the typos. Thanks to all who replied. I guess my initial post was one of being freaked out until I found out what my true Co pay was...but, still...My copay is $328 for four shots of neupogen. I thought it was going to be $2000.
My ribavirin and interferon cost $628 out of pocket. Thank God for my hard working, very supportive husband! Thank all of you, for posting. I have read a lot of supportive and informative info that has really helped me.
i pay 300 per month in copays for treatment. Each injectable is 100 per month and I'm on 3. 700 is pretty steep but that's the way things are going in healthcare. A year ago my co pay on neupogen was 45 a month.
I'm in a similar situation where my insurance co-pay for the Tier 4 meds (Inf) is 25% and I earn too much to qualify for any assistance. It's not a fun position to be when you read about all the free assistance available. But keep exploring the good ideas above.
When it came time for rescue drugs for me, I compared what the cost would be through the specialty pharmacy or going to the hematologist for the neupogen. The co-pay for the hemo visit is about 1/3 of the cost of ordering through the pharm. Plus I get to see my CBC's frequently due to the visit.
I try not to worry about the cost too much even though it hurts. For me, I've decided there's no way to put a price on a good chance to SVR. The alternatives are much more expensive. Explore all options.
One of our members - OrphanHawk has just been successful in finding a way to get neupogen. Here is the information she found. Good luck, I know it is expensive. frjiole

I would like to help but the data you present is very confusing. It is unclear if you have advanced liver disease or why your insurance co-pays are so expensive.
You're paying over $700 a month for meds? Meds for what if I might ask? $700 for co-payments?
You say you have "fibrous and chronic fatigue". What do you mean mean by "fibrosis"? Were are diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? This is not related to liver disease?
Do you have cirrhosis or another disease that limits your ability to work and perform in your daily life? Why haven't you files for Disability Insurance? Assuming you paid into Social Security for a number of years.
"I was Las king 2 quarters to qualify." What does this mean???
Have you check the Patient Assistance Programs to reduce payment for meds or no-cost hep C treatment meds? It all depends on your financial situation of course, but what have you got to lose by trying to reduce your costs at least for some of your meds?
Good luck.
