new to treatment

I just started pegasys/ribiviron treatment 5-29-09.  So far, fever and general discomfort from flu-like symptoms are the only side effects.  My question is, how long does it take before worse side effects start that I've read about?  Does everyone's side effects get worse as the treatment continues?  Thanks for your help.

hi Diva- sorry you are having sx. they should go away in a few days. i never really had any sx that i can remember, really. in fact sx are not the rule but the exception. you would think from reading blogs that most ppl have them. in reality the stats are low. i believe the reason for this is that ppl don't tend to report when they are feeling fine, just when they are feeling lousy. hang in there and be persistent. i took tx twice. i just stopped a few mos. ago. so far i'm still clear. good luck, stay strong.
