night sweats

i am having a bad time with night sweats, i tested negative for hiv a month ago. i have taken interferon for eight months with no results. i have had night sweats a few years ago but now it seems like they are happening in the day time to, not as bad as night time though. i am 52 yrs old, any help would be appreciated. thankyou oh are the night sweats because of hep c
