I wouldn't take nyquil. There's other ways to feel better. If you want a sleeping pill, ask your doctor. And don't worry about being a pest, it is your body and your health.
Thank you :) will be calling today(they are probably sick of me by now). Oh well though, my health :)

When taken at recommended doses, acetaminophen, the medicine in TYLENOL®, is the preferred pain reliever for patients with chronic, stable liver disease.
If you are under a doctor's care for any serious condition, or are taking any other drugs, you should talk to your doctor before taking additional medications. If you are not sure if your medication contains acetaminophen, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use TYLENOL® with other acetaminophen-containing products. Always read and follow label directions. Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) of acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
The warning section of the label states:
Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take:
•more than 8 caplets in 24 hours, which is the maximum daily amount
•with other drugs containing acetaminophen
•3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product

That is taking 325 mg tablets best to talk to your doc and find out what they would consider an acceptable level of usage in 24 hr period
Do they say no more than 1000mg/daily of acetaminophen? Thanks for all your help. I did take some nyquil last night and woke up feeling a tad bit better. Have a good day everyone :)
bill makes a good point. Tylenol has to be used with caution with or without liver disease
One of the reasons Tylenol (acetaminophen) has been going through a FDA-mandated re-labeling process is that other drugs such as NyQuil also contain the active ingredient. This is a good example. If you’re going to use Tylenol for pain control, be sure to review all your other drugs to make sure you aren’t getting too much acetaminophen over a 24 hour period.

I have used it before during and after treatment. never an issue.
