obstruction of portal vein

I am 37 yrs . I have pulmonary hypertension.and have a remodulin pump hooked 24/7. but I was diagnosed with severe cirohssis of liver. A shunt, or tips whatever it's called was tried to be put in me. I know there is no cure but doctors are trying to keep me living as long as possible. anyway the tips procedure couldn't be done because my portal vein is clogged or obstructed. I have had bleeding varices, and a lot of blood transfusions.Some were banded, but now the bleeding is from my stomach and the doctors say they can't do nothing about it. I can't have liver transplant cause my heart and lungs are not good.I have 2 kids and I would like to ask if there is any other way for my portal vein problem. Thankyou L. Frias
