painful bloating and backache

Hey guys I started on last Saturday and since i have been having this bloated pressure pain feeling mainly on the left side but some times all away across right under my rib cage. I don't know what it is and I really dint know if I should be worried. It's not going away no matter what I've tried already. I also have a pretty horrible back ache It's worse from like 10am to 3pm but It's pretty bad no matter what taking ibprofen and tylenol switching them off. It eases but can be almost debilitating, feels like someone is punching me as hard as they can repeatedly up and down my spine. Any ideas?

If your GI is who is treating you for hep C, then that is who you call.

I would think your GI since your GI is following your treatment. Plus, it is abdominal pain so that type of problem should be right up a GI's alley.

It is always best to get abdominal pain checked out. One never knows what it could be.

Your symptoms may all be side effects of the drugs but I would not just assume that.

If I were you I would call my doctor today and tell him/her about the pain, pressure, and bloating you have as well as the back pain. Those symptoms could potentially indicate a serious medical problem totally unrelated to the meds you are taking. Hopefully the doc will see you today and examine you.
