platelets

hi everyone, in the past month my platelets have gone from 483 to 559 and i am anemic hg 94, any suggestions? I am waiting to have some tests done but still 2 weeks away from that.

Thanks, Hector. I'm trying to have patience but 8 years ago I had a TIA and my platelets were at 487 then, I am a little scared but talking does help. Thanks, again.

You need to wait for the results of the tests. Until you have a diagnosis there is nothing that can be done by you or your doctor. Try to have patience. Only a doctor can help you find the cause of these blood abnormalities..

There are many causes of Thrombocytosis (an increased number of platelets)  and anemia. Most are unrelated to hepatitis C or liver disease. These are blood disease disorders.
