please help

A litttle background: I am hep c postitive and i wanted to get treatment. i found out i was pregnant with my first child at 8 weeks. im a recovering iv user. at 8w3d i landed in the hospital for endocarditis, mrsa & cepsis. i wanted to know what my odds are for giving my unborn child hep c? if anyone knows anyone who has went threw the same thing and how there child came out? i feel so bad. im trying to change my life for my daughter, i never meant to conceive her while being an addict but shes my miricale and my sencond chance at life. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APREACIATED !!

I had 4 children while having hepatitis c and none of my babies were born with it.Most are grown now and still don't have it.There is some new information out there that Mother's can nurse their babies while having HCV.
Go to the OB-GYN and get your facts. Don't let them make you feel bad about your situation,some DR's will.It is their job to heal and treat you NOT JUDGE you.

There is a 5 percent chance of pass Hepatitis C to your baby.  it's relatively low.
