My wife has been trying to get me to try Florigen or other probiotics for this diahrrea I'm dealing with from the ribavirin.
Anyone else try this or have any experinces?

I'm taking 1-2 imodium every day to get right.

My husband had great success with firming up his stool by using 15g of water soluble fiber in the evening.  He took 1 Immodium/day for 2 days just to get a handle, but the fiber did the trick.  Must be water soluble, the other kind binds to the meds.  Good luck, hope you find a solution soon, this was one of the most annoying sfx for my husband

I haven't started treatment yet
But a few years ago I was hospitalized with C diff, and almost lost my intestines ( my mother did from the same thing resulting in a colostomy)

I was on antibiotics and probiotics( 2 hours apart or the probiotics do not work if too close to the antibiotics) by far the best probiotic to stop diarrhea is Florastor
You can buy it online and it does not need refrigeration

But also call your md cause you may need fluids
Or antibiotic
Good luck

I know when I asked about using probiotics for digestion,  my NP said  it couldn't hurt.

The other thing to do is pay attention to what you eat. Avoid  fruit.
Eat green bananas, cheese,whole grains.

I don't think its such a good idea to take immodium regularly.
I'd call  my health team and ask , if it were me.
