questions about RX

hi to everyone, i most likely will be starting tx (peg & rib) in sept and i had a few questions: 1) i just found out that my rx insurance has a $2500 deductable and reimburses 60% after that. does it sound like i could get assistance with a plan like mine?  what is the criteria to get assistance from the drug manufactures, such as income, etc? and can you please post the link to apply. 2) has anyone used axium or caremark for their peg or ribaviran and which one do you suggest? 3) this company axium gave me prices for ribavian of $978 for original, $816 for generic and $168 for their compound. has anyone ever used a compound rib? it is such a huge price difference that it seems to good to be true . thanks and god bless

The patient assistance program for Schering is called Commitment to Care, their number is 1 800 521 7157.. they make PegIntron.
They send the meds UPS to your house and I think Caremark handles it.
There is also one for Pegasys, I don't have the number handy. It is very easy, the income qualifications are pretty generous.
Well worth the call. As I recall I called, they sent paperwork (might have been online) and it took about 2 weeks to finalize.

as kalio said you need to send commitment to care your data as they make the decision. i was accepted in one week.
i used DRUGSTORE.COM the first two months and saved $400 a month on peg and $400 on riba. they take visa and insurance.
