rain= energy question

i'm up in the north east...we were supposed to get 3 feet of snow but it's almost all rain...my energy level is much higher when it rains like this...i've noticed this since i started having bad sx about six or seven years ago...i have been susceptible to all kinds of allergys (allergies) for years now..can't even touch horses and i use to ride all the time..i've been waiting to post this question for a rainy day..do i feel high enery because the pollution from the west is pushed into the ground by the rain??or is this feeling because of a change in negative ions???anyway it happens in all seasons..does anyone in the northeast feel better today???  i think my worse days are when it's sunny and the wind is blowing from the west....thanks..billy

i don't likely have the answer you are looking for.  but i love the rain, i like how fresh everything is, and yes since the pollution is washed away we can all breathe better.  maybe it's your postivive percpetions about rain events that make you feel better.  course it's always nice to have the pollution wash away at least for a few hours.

I've had allergies for decades and the answer is; yes, after a rainstorm, allergy sufferers often feel better because the pollens and mold spores are washed out of the air.

The reason you feel worse on dry sunny windy days is because the pollens get blown around and stay in the air longer.

The worse times to be working outside if you have allergies is in the morning.  Same reason:  There are more allergens around then.
