I have not yet had a rash - it was all about the joke. I just started treating 6 weeks ago. Bad bone pain, exhaustion, but no rash. Sorry you do though - it must be miserable.
Best, Anne

Hope you have a sense of humor - I guess you have to with this eh? I had a rash as well and my doctor told me to take a milk bath. I said "past ur ized?" he said, " No, just up to your boobs. " past your eyes-heh heh
By the way, while both of those conditions have names long enough to look scary, they both generally resolve as the HCV resolves. Not always, but usually…
Do you know how to cut and paste a web address to your address bar so you can see those pages I linked, Belle? If not, someone will show you how.
Bill

There are two issues that appear on the skin and are closely related to HCV, Belle; these are:
Porphyria Cutanea Tarda

and
Cryoglobulinemia

PCT usually presents as blisters on sun-exposed areas like hands, face, etc. Cryo by itself might not present as rash, but the associated purpura or vasculitis might. Both have close associations with Hep C. I obviously have no idea if this is what’s ailing you, bit it’s worth discussing with your doctor at next appointment. You might read through the links I listed above, and if anything looks familiar print them out and take to your next appointment.
Good luck-
Bill
