red circle at injection site.

It is the day that I do my weekly injection of pegintron. I noticed yesterday while going to the bathroom a red circle on my thigh. I thought maybe I had pressed up against something but today I realized duh thats where i injected last week. Is this normal a week later for a large red circle to show up or should I call the doc?

No you’re fine. In fact, I used to use those circles to remind me where I injected the week before, and to not inject there again. Just try to rotate injections and they should disappear in a couple of more weeks,

Mine are still visible after 5 weeks, barely, but still there. They progress through all stages of ugly, too! I asked my study about it and was told it's perfectly normal, not to worry.
