reduction in medication

Hi everyone,

I just got a phone message from my nurse. She said that due to some blood test results my Pegasys dose has to be reduced to 0.75 and most likely I will need to use reduced dose until the end of my treatment. She did not mention what test came back bad. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I am 1b and I know I need to take the most medication allowed. I have done 22 shots so far and tested at 120 IU/ml at 12 weeks. I am also very upset that my doctor did not find time to call me myself and explain why medication has to be reduced! I left a message for them and I am waiting for some explanation. In the mean time did anyone have an experience where they had to reduce medication temporarily or permanently?
