I think the drug route is moving, the PI"s are very hopeful.
I just found out there is a drug in the works for HIV that uses zinc finger technology, this drug can actually penetrate the genome splice certain receptors so the virus cannot attach.
Wow.

I just hope we can move away from the Riba (as helpful as it has been) and the interferon.

Hey Rangle how nice to see your name first thing this morning how in the world are you doing?

There are new no-interferon drugs in the works but I think they are pretty far out there. Considering it took this many years just to get tela to almost being approved....they are pretty slow about this stuff. But they are getting there. I'm not really very knowledgable about the newer ones coming since I've been SVR for so long now but I am sure the other guys will fill you in.

Nice to see your name here.  Remind me what your status is now.  I was reading your profile but not sure you were able to complete treatment.  I see you are a Geno 3 so I am not sure these new drugs are going to benefit you.  Others will have to update the other research for Geno 3's
