researching study and investigational drugs

Hi,
I'm sure a lot of you are more up on the new medications being studied, i was looking for the drugs being used in the study I might be participating in and it is hopeful.  It looks like the scientists are trying to find something to replace the interferon and Riba, but the odds are greatly improving with the PI's and the SOC.

The study found that the all-oral regimen of GS 9190, GS 9256 and RBV produced viral suppression, with a median maximal decline from baseline in HCV RNA of 5.1log10 IU/mL during 28 days of treatment.  (Gilead )
A study with these 2 drugs Protease and Polymerase Inhibitor w/ SOC resulted in a 100% RVR in 28 days.
sounds good to me, this is complicated isn't it?
best wishes for beneficial outcomes
Mary

Those numbers look really promising.  I would think they are very reassuring for you as a probable candidate in this study.

As for complicated - I've learned about stuff on this sight that I didn't even know to be aware of - nice to have such a ready access to information.
