riba3 indeterminate NS3 band

hello,

At 1year from probable contct blood to blood i have anti HCV weakly reactive ( 1,63 at 8 month after incident, 1,14 at 9 month, 0,97 at 10mont and 1,56 at 12 month). at 8 month and 10 month i hve riba 3 indeterminate with NS3. PCR Quantitative viral load was undetectable at 8 month ALT and AST level ok. I repeat the viral load at 13 month and i wait the result. For your opinion  i have chronic HCV. i wait the result and i don't sleep and i 'm very scared. Please answer me because i'm so anxious.
Many thanks,
Ovidiu

Can i have the hope that anti HCV and Riba3 is false positive?

From what I've read, after more than a year from exposure, if you had the virus they would pick it up on the PCR by now.  Since you were exposed, you will ALWAYS have the  antibodies.  Many people clear the virus on their own and never have an issue, but will always have the antibodies.  Keep monitoring.

I don't understand this particular lingo at all but if you have a positive but no viral load then you have the antibodies but not the virus........

Somebody else who understands true med-speak and smarter than I will have to advise but what does your doctor say?
