ring around the tounge

are the rings around the tounge suppose to be prefect circles
also how long do they last and do they appear when stressed out or lack of sleep if geographic tounge is the problem and is lymp noids effected at all

No the rings are not always in perfect circles and yes mine always seems to be worse when I'm stressed or tired.When I first got this about 5 years ago it seemed like I had them most of the time but now I dont get them as often.As far as the lymph nodes,if they are swollen its usually a sign of some sort of infection which would in turn stress the body triggering an outbreak of the geographic tounge.

i have those in my mouth too. i am hep c geno 1a did shot 42 last nite. my general prac. gives me a prescription for magic mouth...it helps but still comes and goes. he also gave me diflucan 150 mg tablet to take when they are really bad and they are now!!!!OUCH!!!!!!!!! good luck and GOD bless. from almost done 2
