If you stepped on an IV needle that was contaminated with HCV, there is a good chance of being infected (providing the needle broke the skin). HCV is not like HIV. It can survive for quite awhile exposed to the elements.
Is non-occupational needle stick the same as .. recreational needle stick?
1.8 % of getting HCV?? IF the non-occupational needle was previously used by another non-occupational user that has HCV the Chances of possibly getting HCV are 100%
