Just wanted to share that I went yesterday for the screening process for the trial. Now I have to wait 10-14 days to hear if Im accepted. I really want to get in this trial! Im just worried because of my genotype results. My results only show that Im genotype 1. They cant seem to detect if Im a or b. And the trial nurse said they might reject me because of that. So she is doing the genotype test one more time. Hopefully this one will show a or b! Praying it all works out :)
i hope everything works so you can get in the trial. i am in a trial and have received the best care. they really monitor me so i know everything that is going on with my health. good luck. belle
btw - i only have 6 more weeks. been in the trial since june 24th.
This will be my fourth genotype test. The first 2 came back without being able to detect any genotype. the third test showed genotype 1 but could not detect the subtype (a or b). So this 4th test Im praying will detect it. Otherwise I may be denied the trial :(
