Hi there & welcome. I agree with other posts it is very rare for sexual relationships that the partner to get it. My hubby did have hepc for 30 odd yrs but we only found out about 22 mth ago, I got tested for peace of mind and yes i was negetive! Just to be on the safe side then use protection and if you are both really worried then maybe get your children tested if that is at all possible. Extremely unlikely but if you want to be sure use protection. The incidence of transmission in long time monogamous couples is very very low.

Ty very much. I'm kind of trying to see what or if there wou K d be any complications down the road. We both have several piercings. Some piercing holes are more sensitive and/or larger than others. I guess many strange scenarios have played in my head, just wanting to be safe and well, one that is , graphic I suppose, but can it be transferred through a menstrual cycle during unprotected sex?
