It depends on whether your male or female.  It depends on the VD itself, seeing a MD is very important, you want to be able to have children in the future, so I would suggest a visit to the MD, doctors will know what to do for you and can give you meds to clear up the problem, also letting your sexual partners know is important, ask them to go to the MD also.
