Just to clarify I believe nygirl meant half your body weight in oz.'s of water!
Hope it gets better for you
Good Luck
Foot/leg cramps are pretty common with anyone with HCV, also pretty common when someone is dehydrated. Take magnesium and potassium also make sure you are drinking half your body weight in water a day and try a glass of tonic water (it contains quinine which helps with the cramps - the foot doctor told me this and I found it to be true) before you go to bed. That is when I got the worst cramps at night, they'd wake me up yowza like someone was stabbing me to death!
Sorry you are having them, they are miserable!! but the suggestions above are all doctor given to me and they have helped tremendously!
Not sure, but I do know one of the side effects is an increased chance of gout.. but generally, that is swelling, heat, redness and PAIN in the joint.. and it doesnt really come and go once it starts. But.. just a thought.
