by wayno1, Jul 02, 2007 12:00AM
Hello everyone! 2 more weeks and I am done! 44 weeks of itching, and fatigue, headaches, shortness of breath, dry eyes, hair standing straight out (had to trim eyebrows short) haha! about 25 weeks of a constant cough! also gastro reflex about 30 weeks now! depression, anxiety attacks so many sleepless nights, muscle aches, and joint aches, can not walk vwery far out of breath and knee and hip joint start burning now, out of breath to bend over to pet my dogs or tie my shoes hahaha!. just did blood work still clear  was 57 at 12 weeks down from 2,310,000. doctor said I would have been considered clear if they only checked down to 600. they checked down to 50. I am on copegasys, my liver ast and alt finally started dropping after 40 weeks on treatment. ast started 32 and alt 61. they continued to climb through treatment. ast and alt both went into low 100"s. I still work 5 gays a week. no energy! I have a 8 man crew that babysit me haha! I am lucky! I tell them I go to work so I won't be depressed sitting at home. They don't let me work to hard always taking tools away from me telling me and telling me to  go sit down for awhile. I have other friends at work have hep c also. they don't want anyone to know. I am hep c 1a 30 plus years, I am 56 year old male. I have posted before under pwayno! I can not reset my password so used different e-mail. I refused anti ds don't want to have to ween off that also. I have friends been on them for years can't stop taken them. soon as I stop treatment I am taking a month Vacation to Thailand! I have a lot of Thai friend from here that live there been there 6 times before love the food and people there. I can eat Thai food for a couple dollars a day. I hope all of you are doing good! I read the forums alot, but because of password problem could not respond alot. I hope I am luck and my sxs stop a few months after treatment, and not linger for a year like I read some do! TAke care all sorry for the long post JUST EXCITED 2 MORE SHOTS TO GO!

I hope those 2 weeks seem like 2 days and that you're SVR in 6 months. It must be a real comfort to be surrounded by such a great crew.

congratulations on 2 more shots to go, ending your tx.   I have 2 more shots, however, I'm only a 24 week treater.  My "hats" (so to speak) off to you for your near one year treatment mark.    All sides you list are very familiar.  Enjoy Thailand.

Congradulations, two more huh.  I know it has been a long hard road for all to carry.  You may at times seem that the 2 or so weeks will never get there, but when they do AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
