I apologize for landing onto this thread with a different question, but I'd really like to know if anybody has had news about couchpotato. I remember her short dramatic message some time ago and cannot help worrying about her and her husband's situation. have any of you heard from her? useless to say, I hope things are going better.
thank you anna
I finished tx in May & still have sneezing fits & terrible sinus problems.
So far I've had a nasel spray & anti histermines, neither have cleared it up so I'm back at the docs Monday.
I'm on week 9/24 and I had sneezing issues for the first couple weeks...and then nothing. Good luck!
Interferon can be very drying to the sinuses and upper respiratory track. Dry sinuses can be more susceptible to infection and increase sensitivity to dust and other allergens. For me it was coughing. Saline nasal spray and a humidifier almost got rid of it but I still (57/60) have to hack up a little in the mourning. Don
During tx I had allergy type symptoms which I never had before. There were times my nose would be like afaucet and it would start with sneezing. It kept up after tx but got less severe and now 3 months off tx the attacks are almost gone and are very slight compared to when on tx. It still could be something else. I chalked most things up to tx and found not everything is tx related so ask your doc about it too and keep tissues nearby at all times. LL
This weekend I will be doing 36/48 and have had daily sneeze attacks (1-3 times/day) since starting tx. Add onto it non-stop allergies and a nagging sinus condition and I'm thinking of buying stock in Kleenex - (if nothing else, I could always use the stock certificates to wipe my schnoz). And all this nose blowing hasn't been made any nicer by all the tx-induced zits that keep forming on my the end of my nose. Fun, fun, fun - this tx stuff, eh?
