so great to still see y'all and open

WOW - its been forever since I have been here and I was so happy to see some names I remember. Well lets see I am doing shot 46 of 72 this friday and well yea im fallin to peices too lol.
The meds have gotten to me at week 36 my vl was down to 919 i know not great still pluggin the 1200 mgs of riba and 150 mcg of pegintron. now I am taking aranesp for reds good stuff 1 shot seems to stay with me for about 3 weeks.
heres the ? I pose though
neulasta - basically neupogin just suppose to stay in the body longer like the aranesp.i did the daily shots and it was ok but i had a shot of this new neulasta last friday and here it is tuesday and im home from work still. the bone pain is horrific along with the leg cramps and the headache that still has not left.
has anyone had any similar experience?
i talked to doc and he said this is perfectly normal. i beg to differ this is not normal even for me and anyone that knows me knows im pretty resiliant.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
and HI everyone
hugsssss
Dottie

Hi dottie, nice to see ya back. with your new med i would just make sure you're not having an allergic reaction or something like that...

one time i got deep and serious bone pain from "Atenanol" blood pressure med...happened right after i took it...i didn't think it was realated at first but then i took it the second night and the same thing happened...next night no atenanol no deep bone pain and none since....weird i know..i later read it was bad for livers too and had been associated with some liver probs...
that was it for atenanol for me now i take norvask...

hope you find out what's going on soon and can start to feel better...

Cuteus :o) Hey there !!! Wow you made the 72 high 5's and big hugs!!! Still clear - this is what I like to hear. oh the light is brighter and I celebrated when I could start counting the shots left instead of the shots done.
this is such an emotional thing that we go through along with the all the medical issues it really puts things into perspective. and well yea I havent been here in a long long time but really came to see who was here still. I saw a post from the rev and a few others also and it felt good kinda like warm fuzzies you know.

Honey :o)
good to see you as well, My doc doesnt want to do another pcr until 52 weeks as he cant get the insurance company to approve the 72 weeks tx and he has gotten me the meds to finish out via the drug rep. wow something for free im amazed lol
tx has certainly been an expensive venture between copays and deductables but if i can acheive svr or at the least stop further progression of my liver then its all good. hope to post again soon

Chevy :o)
Girl its all water under the bridge, no worries. Its great to see you as well and I guess that I am doing ok really. I still work full time and all just sometimes i gotta crash and take time to just sleep.
the forum is still there as are all the different chat rooms I must admit that although I post there often I dont get to chat as much as I use to. I think steven king best described it in delores clayborne as a rough patch :o)
but please come by anytime you want you and everyone are always welcome. after all i guess we are in a sense related by blood ok just a little sick humor on my part. seriously i would love to see you more often and i will come by here more as well thanks.

does anyone ever see trihepguy anymore? I think about you all often and wish everyone the best
luv-n-hugs

well looky what the board dragged in!!
So sorry to hear of the long haul and ordeal, Dottie.
are you not clear yet?  what a persistent bug you have!
just wanted to say hi, and I wish you a SVR!!!
I finished my 72 wks back in Nov'04, did a 5 wk and 3 mo pcr, still negative, 6 mo in June.

I feel so much better now that I have no  meds and hopefully no virus either.
Hang in there... that pin hole of a light at the end of the tunnel will get bigger.
