Hi Cass, and thanks for keeping us posted. Congrats on finishing your Treatment!  My husband has 1 more week to go, on his 12 week Trial with some AbtVie Trial meds (phase 3, with the riba, plus the Abbot meds used in The Aviator Study)
He also was Undetected at week 4, and it's hard for us "old-timers" to believe in a 12 week Tx, but yes, believe, these Trials are yielding excellent results!

Hello there, this is wonderful news!  I am so very very happy for you!

How are you feeling?  If you want to see some other people on this trial you can go to the top of the page, click on the magnifying glass, type in your soofosbuvir and you will find others talking about it.
If you can find, let me know I will find and send some addresses to you.

Your English is perfect by the way :)

Again, so excited for you, no interferon WOO HOO!!

i think the chances of SVR could be higher with a treatment 48 weeks long; my doctor told me that you can achieve SVR after 48 weeks ,60 -70 % of his patients witk genotype 2 and 3 achieved SVR after that period of time, so don't be sad you can get it!

i'm really sorry for what happened to you..i could imagine how you feel about it! but you're not old you can try again! if you ask me if it would be better to wait for new treatment with sofosbuvir i think it coulb be at your own risk: i mean, i don't know when this new drug could be avaible for all patients..here in Italy also boceprevir and telaprevir are not avaible yet for all patients so i think it takes a lot of time until everyone could use sofosbuvir..my advice is not to wait and try again with pegasis and ribavirin, i know a lot of people (genotype 3) who have been not detect after 48 weeks of treatment!! be strong, re-gain your energy and start another battle against the enemy!

Thank you very much for your answer. I would like to find a trial in Germany (where i live) for my father, who lives out of hier, not in EU. But he could surely stay by me during the trial, it's not a Problem. I just don't know if only the residents of the country could participate. May be there are some rools, that says that in the Trials in Italy only the Italien residents can participate. Thats what i mean.
You are absolutly right, you have won a lottery! I really really glad for you, because i really know how much it means. You have got a great Chance.
