sovaldi/olysio sides

Hello all,

This weds., 2 new bottles of olysio and sovaldi will be delivered to my house. I am very happy to be starting the second 28 day period. Unlike some, I do have some sides, but they are mild compared to  past treatments. Today has been an exhaustion day. I was driving back from the doctor and was starving so I got a hamburger and whoofed it down. Not usually a big meat eater so I try to listen to my body's cravings. After eating the burger, what I heard from body was, don't eat anymore hamburgers. All day I have been lethargic, sick to my stomach and not feeling like working.
I am 62 yr. old female with stage 3 liver disease.
Still grateful!

With stage 3 liver disease you may want to avoid eating red meat or limit your consumption.  I'm an early stage 4 cirrhotic, and do know that red meat is hard to digest and not good for someone with a compromised liver.  My Hepa advised no more then once or twice a month at best.  Usually when you listen to your body it will give you an indication when something just doesn't feel right.  The meds may also play a part in that as well since any greasy or heavy foods will also create havoc.  While on Tx, you may want to stick with light meals and try to eat 5-6 times daily.  This will help to keep your blood sugar even and your energy level up to par.

Hi there! Congratulations for getting on the S&O. that is great news.
I don't know if you would be interested but I found another thread of people sharing their experiences with S&O.  Good luck, Dee.

Yea!
I tried close to the same thing the other day and ate some fried fish and ended up feeling the same way you did from the burger. Could have been the grease rather than the meat though, on both the fish and burger.
I'm sorry you're not feeling so well but at least you are 1/3 of the way through Mary. Hang in there!
