stopping work

The first time I treated, I continued to work as an inner city middle school teacher. I'm3A, I was on TX  for 24 months (non-pegaleted interferon & riba) .  I lowered but did not clear. This time my doc & I decided to have me go on work disability for a year.  For me that was a good idea- to lower the level of work stress . I think work stress should be part of the equation.

Haven't worked since starting TX 11 months ago (first and hopefully last go round) nor could I have.  (I have 27 weeks to go).

I'm amazed you got through your first TX without strangling someone.  (G)  Or maybe you just lacked the strength?  *LOL*  (And boy can the little b's smell BLOOD when we're weak!)

I went on 3 month FLMA and then, after a 5 month battle, was approved for DB early retirement.

I can't believe anyone could make it through 24 month tx AND work in an urban school.

When do you start again?
