swollen stomach, mind foggy

About my brother Cliff 58, I am 61 sister.
His stomach is very big never had it drained, if it is drained is there something they can put back into stomach that is for his health. He understood if they did drain the fluids the good fluid would be gone too.
His mind is foggy too.

No I haven't, but I've seen ppl in that condition and it's very difficult.  If he wants to feel better then he needs to go to the hospital, then afterwards they will give him a prescription of something, maybe lactulose and maybe something else.  All that stuff will be reviewed and monitored by a doctor, ammonia levels etc.   good luck

So sorry to hear that your brother is in this bad of condition.  If he has cirrhosis and is suffering from acites, then he has no choice but to have it drained.  If he wants to feel better and live awhile longer then maybe he needs to see a doctor or hospital asap.  good luck
