Even the new Jergens product works pretty darn well - in 3 days it gives you a really nice tan and it's NOT expensive. Jergens Natural Glow Express is under $10 and works FAST.

I think the thing is trying a few of them to see which works with your skin - I tried a few in the beginning that were more like "tanners" rather than the "moisturizers with tanning" - I prefer the moisturizer types myself because I just use them exactly like I would use a lotion (and then WASH YOUR HANDS or you will have nice orange hands!!!)

Just be careful not to use much on your knees or elbows or ankles...skin like that really sucks it up and turns DARK.

The L'oreal sublime is pretty good (and not expensive either).

If you have a lot of problems with streaking you can use one of the new Micromist types that you spray on.  I haven't had any trouble with them BUT I find they take a little longer to dry and I'm usually rushing around in the morning.

Generally I like the silly old Jergens the best. It's not high end expensive and it works either rapidly if you use the "express" or it develops slowly if you use the regular glow daily.

The secret is to NOT go gung ho all at one time.......many layers is the way to go or you will get orange and streaky.  :)

I would like to know about those tanners myself.  I have bought 3 new ones in the last month and they all turn me orangeish, plus I never get them even LOL

What's the new "high end" tanner called?
Now that I've stopped treatment and am pale as a ghost from tx.

I figure I may as well LOOK HEALTHY with my cirrhosis. ;-)

(Always enjoy your posts).
Cheers!

of course it was. at the salon there is a big notice of what meds you can't be on when you go tanning and Intron is right on there.

I made the mistake once. I was only in for half of the time and I knew something wasn't right and I got out. I was purple in places I swear to God and when it peeled off it was like being a leper it was SO bad, like my bed was covered in snow - it was that gross.

DO NOT GO TANNING ON TREATMENT.

I started using the new high end self tanners that they have out for the past two years and I have a nicer golder more even tan than the people who just come back from vacation.  Seriously. Plus they moisturize your skin and God knows we can't get enough of that, tx or not tx!
