telapivir trial...

did anyone or anyone you know do the suboxone program while on the teleprivir trial? i figure its a long shot, but i'm hoping at least someone has. i would like to know how it was taking teleprivir while on suboxone....thanks

the telaprevir trial I was in would not have let you in the program if you needed to take suboxone.  so I can not help.

I would agree that they might be pretty strict about this because it's a trial.....and conditions must be perfectly met but as I've told you before it has no effect on standard meds at all as far as I could tell.

i dont know about trials but in australia ur aloud to be on methadone or suboxone etc whilst on SOC TX DRUGS,n i know a few ppl who cleared on methadone on the tx.

Can someone with Hep-c be treated if there have stage 2-inflammation and stage 4 cirrhosis with the Genotype 2.

suboxone and methadone are meant for short term use   withdrawal side effects are gone within a month  thats all the longer your body needs it

zoe - yes treatment is possible at stage 4 - i heard now even with decompensated cirrhosis treatment is possible

Many people are on methadone for life. It depends on their brain chemistry. These drugs have not interfered with treatment in the trials where opioid treatment patients were allowed.

i guess youve never seen anyone in methadone withdrawal  how do you think people handled brain chemistry for centuries before there was methadone and suboxone  its a joke and a crutch as well as one of the most abused programs there is

All I know is suboxone has kept me off painkillers for 7 years now. Without it I was a mess with it I am a functioning professional.  So yes maybe it is a crutch of sorts if you want to say that but then I guess AA is a crutch too then.  People should just say no to drugs, yeah that works.
