to cuteus..you'll love this one my job is working national accounts for our doctors and i am on the phone alot and get yelled at alot by the doctors for not getting paid...then i have to review and find out what the problem is and call all over to different states minding time zones and resolve the issue of whether or not to pay them... i work in health insurance of all things..

i have an american husky,maine coon cat,7 fish...last year i had to put down my baby red and white siberian husky akc raised from 8 weeks had him 14 years, the previuos year my alaskan malamute whom was championship and a handful fell and broke her back..had her from 8 wks and for a gloriuos 8 years. the husky pack i have now i rescued last year and she is 6 and spoiled rotten..the owners left her tied to a dog box with no food or water for days.....now she is living the high life..hates the outside...the animals keep me going too...

According to my wife- All of our animals have speach impediments that go far beyond baby talk. I'm really not sure what it is.

stang; there is no other way to talk to a pet, be it a fish, a tarantula or a bird, baby talk is it! you are as normal as they come.
that is the correct meaning' chupa=to suck and cabra= goat. i can get you a t shirt here in NY that has the picture and the name, except they usually make it a plural name=chupacabras. It is a very popular myth in the spanish community, not sure why Mulder thought it was mexican only. Those aliens!

LOL! chupacabra!! where did you get the translation? some call it a vampire of sorts or a zombie, they even 'saw' it in Europe. Hopefully your chupacabra is nothing like the myth! funny name! love it!
Count me in as a dog lover! I have two cocker spaniels and they are just the best! I really miss them when I am at work. Of course--like many of you--they "run the house"--but they ask for so little and give me back so much! Ever since I was dx'ed this year they have been hanging around me even more than before--I think my husband is jealous! But they know something is going on and they want me to know they are here for me! I just love them.
LOL my dog weighs only 17 pounds.......it's inconceivable to me (right now cause I don't have one anymore) to imagine a 120 dog LOL. I can't imagine having a dog who weighs more than me (although since I've started gainning weight back...that might not be the situation for long :)
I have a mini lop rabbit and he is the most adorable, affectionate thing I have seen, so what if he does not wag his tail?

I have two dogs , one of them is and angel from heaven named "Cowgirl" and the other one is such a god-awful mutt , her name is Chupa Cabra.(mexican warewolf). I love them equally.
I HAD TO CHUCKLE CAUSE I TOLD MY ANIMALS I HAD HEPC FIRST TOO! ALWAYS GOOD PRACTICE LOL...I KNOW MY BABY NOW WEIGHS 120 LBS. AND LET ME TELL YA A NEED A NEW MATRESS ABOUT EVERY 2 YEARS GOTTA LOVE THEM...:)

Lame names for dogs--how about Murphy and O'Reilly--do you get the idea we're Irish?? Of course that is there real names--they often get called so many other "baby" names--makes you wonder what they're thinking sometime!!
I had a Siberian too and had to put her down. SHe was one week from being 17. It was so hard but I should have done it before then. I got her when she was 1 1/2 because she would get out anywhere of anything. I used to race her (on sleds with wheels as KC does not have consistant snow) She was my baby. I since have 2 goldens and a cat. Now my goldens are getting old. Not sure if I have the energy for a husky anymore. They require lots of exercise but hey that may do me some good.

Years ago my Doberman Bandit came in behind my daughter who was only like four...she was SCREAMING AND crying and I thought the dog was after her (it's what it looked like - he kept trying to bite her head I mean he was LITERALLY nipping at it!). All of a sudden she picked up her hair while screaming and a big black wasp flew out...and that dog barked and growled and chased it out the door.
In all my life I never saw anything like that. Gosh I miss that dog - he was one of those dogs that when he wanted to go out would go "oooooowwwh" so you knew. I loved having a talking dog at parties LOL.

You guys can count me in on loving dogs. I love my pups. I have three of the lugs. We have 2 80 pounders that sleep on the bed with us and then a 40 pound girl who is a clown and a pain in the booty at the same time.
I don't know what I would do without my dogs.

When I had my c sections and things went totally wrong I was recovering for 3 months and during one of the recoveries I had to lay flat with my knees angled up. The home nurse brought this pad that will do it. One of my dogs laid under my knees to keep my legs up. Now that's loyalty right there. To this day he still sleeps at my feet and most times crawls under my legs.
Aaaaaah I could go on forever about pups. I tell ya.

I think there are lots of dog lovers in here. Sign me UP because my baby is just the most wonderfull doggie too. I can only have one little guy right now cause of my housing situation but look forward to the day I can get a couple more big guys to run with him outside. :)

A lot of emotion gets left on these pages. I had a series of really bad things happen to me over the last two years; my wife left me, I was in a bad motorcycle accident, I lost the home I had worked so hard to buy and make so special, I found I had hep-c, I lost a job and had to file bankruptcy. I have so much back pain I must wear an internal pump that doses me 24/7 with morphine. I went from being a very social man who had a lot of friends to a virtual recluse. Now I'm looking at interferon and all the unknowns that will bring Throughout all of this my two babies have been there for me. I can be gone for five minutes and they greet me like I have been gone all day. They love me without any conditions. They are pound mutts and every day of their lives they share with me I love them just a little more. They have complete run of the house, sleep on my bed with me and they even let the kitten attack their tails. These guys brought me back from the brink.
