when did you start back on AD's?
And STAY on them this time for at least 6 months.
that's how long it took for me to wean myself off them back in 99.
And, if you don't want to go off them, then DON'T! They sure do make you feel good!
With the house sale and moving and realtors and buyers and attorneys and riders and riders to riders not to mention the sx of the tx i may be on them soon myself!
and you're not whining! (Obsessing - - well. . . *LOL*)

In my little country way I'll jus say this...Go aheadon girl if it makes ya feel better.....LOL....Just thank God you have the strength to do it......But the angry portion couldn't have anything to do with Ribavirin huh??....LOL..
.Jus Kiddin ya...Keep your chin up sweetie it's ALL GOOD.
You better stop worrying so much, darn it!
Maybe that's why the community window disappeared.
All that bug anxiety dissolved it. (see - you don't know your own power.)
Just kidding! Hey, you are UND and finished with TX and i really hope you can start to relax, whatever (within reason) it takes.
to tell the truth, i'm wondering if my relative inactivity now is contributing to these phantom aches and pains.
i try to make myself exercise more but i can't breathe so good. Still, I manage thirty minutes 4 to 5 days a week.

I have been complaining alot about this same " pain" I have trouble sitting up straight, or leaning back to lounge. Have a gurgling and bubbling . A tight feeling, my bra digs in, makes for a miserable time.
I'm not tx so , I think its the HCV it self. I was told its not my gallbadder,so no wonder I worried my liver was failing.
"I have trouble sitting up straight, or leaning back to lounge. . . A tight feeling, my bra digs in, makes for a miserable time."
Same thing here - it's not PAINFUl as much as very uncomfortable and noticeable and you're always aware of it.
Have you been on TX and, if so, did you get SVR?
wyntre
dito here, had the upper right quad pressure before tx and still do, but not all the time.
Some suggestions,
wyntre 9 stop eating dry roasted peanuts (and get those crazy thoughts of enjoying cold and wanting to move north out of your head!-perhaps we can do a house trade(G))
Cathi, stop wearing a bra!!!
sorry, couldn't resist.
I was prescribed protonix for my complaints, didn't help with the pressure/pain, but definitely helped me stomach the high dose riba.
believe me, you wouldn't WANT to live where I do, currently. i'm headed north July 1.
but the peanuts - yeah, i'm so dumb, it dawned on me AFTER days of discomfort and finally posting on forum that that MIGHT be one of the problems - along with the pint of ben and jerry's i downed the other night. (nothing wrong with my appetite!)
guess i've been so spoiled in that I've NEVER had digestion problems . . .and now i haveta actually PAY ATTENTION to what i eat.
'I was prescribed protonix for my complaints, didn't help with the pressure/pain, but definitely helped me stomach the high dose riba."
i'm gonna google that but to tell you the truth i bet these darn symptoms would disappear if i just starting eating VERY light again. So, after once again having made a fool of myself on forum, in public, that's what i'm gonna haveta do.
i really don't wanna take any more meds.
wyn
I have the pain too, both during tx and now. Course I'm sick with worry that it's the hepc attacking again.
Bug
Dumb me . . .I started eating dry roasted peanuts this week.
it just occurred to me that may be causing, or aggravating the problem.
Any thoughts?
read your tale of riba and mcdonalds during the northeaster.
no wonder ya don't like cold!
We got hit pretty hard, too. a 500 year (as opposed to a 100-year) flood. All 6 of the bridges into town were washed out and 3 are still closed. schools haven't been open since last monday.
i heard NYS got it bad, too, especially Ulster and orange counties.
wyntre
We got hit pretty good here, compound that with mud season (our version of Spring (g)), and things are a bit sloppy now. Looking forward to those 2 1/2 months of Summer though!!!!! At least the further north you go, the closer to Ben & Jerry's you'll be...Be careful with that stuff, like eating crisco from the can...But what the heck, on a positive note you can tour the factory and get free ice cream!!!!!!.....;^)
..........and Bug, please ease up on the worrying, I would guess (yes, guess) your liver is working overtime to detoxify. When is your next scheduled pcr?
i'll take 'earth' mud over other varieties any day.
and it's more than 2 and a half good months - it's at least 6, and besides, it's gorgeous up there.
but you're right about the b & G . that was a BIG mistake. i won't be visiting that factory any time soon. :)
I was UND <50 by week 10 - 11...Which by the way means I could have anywhere between 0-50 copies.......But now As of 2 months ago I'm now NO HCV RNA DETECTED = NONE......THANKS BE TO THE MOST HIGH GOD...
Yes it gets uncomfortable at times when it has that really full feeling....just seems swollen, but no pain or anything just like taking up all the left over room....From what I've gathered,I suspect that the gurgling or bubbling effect is that your Liver and or Pancreas is trying to dispense either good enzymes (pancreatic enzymes) or your liver is TRYING to get shed of grease and garbage and the bile ducts are kinda plugged up with either stones or crystals and everything is trying to workout......
At any rate till I get done tx I'm not going to sweat it..I just get a BX and see a Gastro afterward.........
Thanks, I'm trying not to obsess but it's what I do best. I have been in an angry mood lately, I need the a/d's to kick back in quick! Sorry if I've been childish, I feel like throwing myself on the floor, kicking and screaming just to get it out of my system. I have nothing to complain about, I'm just being a baby. Whahh!
I had blood work done on Fri., heptimax included. Now I just have to sit back and relax, which I do so well!
Take care, thanks for the friendship,
Bug
I remember your posting you were UND. What week was it for you?
(I'm still waiting for week 16 VL. Week 13 or 14 was 510, down from pre-TX of 1,140,000)
Do you find the tenderness in that area is worse when you're sitting either on a chair or in bed?
BTW, I like your interpretation that it's the liver repairing itself. :)
wyntre
I do believe that would be the liver, the greater lobe sits just like that.Following the right edge of your rib cage...The GB is in the middle slightly right of the sternum around 4" to 5" down....The bile duct runs that same course.
I don't know whats going on with yours..But I can say I have activity in this region........Being UND ,I'm thinking my liver is repairing.
