hi, ya thanks for the good advice i posted u a message before must of not went through in case it didnt thanks again and ya i just got some blood work yesterday no anemia .Just so sleepy. That is very good that u are working still i cant just so many complications and so much swelling in my legs if i stand or sit for long time .What genotype are you? When were u diagnosed ?I am genotype 1 and have had hep c since the early 80s when i recieved a bad blood transfusion.I have had 2 shots now and you said you have had 5 so we should defenitely stay in touch compare side fx cause we are pretty close in treatment time bye
Oh, pulllleeeeze!
(pronounced like Steve Martin)
i know it is different for everyone, for me, i get a little more tired as treatment goes on, I do shot 5 tomorrow. But it is not unbearable, I am working 8-9hr everyday, but have some times during the day now when i just need to close my eyes for a sec and rest...then all of a sudden i realize i am up moving around and have more energy again, it's very werid, ha. On the weekends I have been doing some things, like visiting my mom, taking my kids to thier dads (a 3-4 hr round trip), doing grocery shopping etc, but I am pretty done by 6:30 or 7 pm, somedays even earlier.
I can see I may have to slow down as time goes on...for some it is worse in the beginning, for some it just ***** through the whole thing, and for others not so bad through the whole thing.
Hopefully your body will adjust and get use to it and feel a little better as time goes on. Once you get your first bloodtest results you can see whats going better as well. You may be experiencing some anemia or something.
But be sure to let your doctor know whats going on with you, no need to suffer anymore then is necessary...
Hope you feel better soon...
Congrats on beginning TX. You are on your way. Nausea is tough. I found lots of ice and gingerale could get me through sometimes. Very good luck.

This thread is going to be a dangerous one I see
For a lot of us it seems like starting 5 hours after you take your shot to maybe the next day and a half you may feel this way. It more than likely will not last all week.
I was so nauseous in the beginning. All the time. I lost nine pounds in the first two weeks. It took a while for me to establish the right eating habits & dosing times as well as the best day to administer my shot before I started to see what would work for me.
I'm still learning too. Right now Sparking Miner Water is about all I drink however I am going to bone up on Ginger. Hang in there♪

Some people report having difficulties sleeping. I didn't have that problem. In fact, I was the opposite. I fell asleep sitting up on more than one occasion. ;)
I also find Ginger to be therapeutic.

Fatigue is a major side effect.
Sleep is when our body works to attack the virus, as well as help asus heal.
Go with it.
When you do have some energy, get up and move.
Remember, keep drinking water, every time you wake up, drink some more.
Ginger, in all forms is great for nausea. I juice whole root and put it in shakes, juice, oatmeal, and make tea with it.
