You know, while I was not sleeping last night, as I did while on tx, I was thinking about your last post. I had knee surgery a few years ago and the re-hab really kicked my ass. If you think about what we have just been through, really post tx is the same.

The chemicals change our whole metabolism in strange and different ways. For example, I've had skin problems all my life. I thought tx would probably worsen them. Instead, I never had any rash or cracked hands like others did. I've been off tx since Oct 6th, and now suddenly I break out with a rash.

Also, I am not diabetic, but if I have too much sugar my glucose levels rise to the border line. While on tx I ate all the sugar I desired and my glucose was fine.

The chemicals for tx f*** with the chemicals in our body and our brain. I veiw jumping out of the fog as a giant leap for mankind. So I guess when I brag that I am recovering well, really I am just realizing that I'm no longer getting worse every week.

So back to my original point, I look at post tx as re-hab. I felt better before my knee surgery than after (now my knees are great and I am looking forward to skiing again). Feeling better isn't going to happen over night and not without some work, like better diet, small steps of exercise, and patience.

I just wanted you to know how my heart cath turned out yesterday.  I am clean as a whistle!  Plumbing is great!  No plugging going on there so I guess I will keep on plugging along!

So, why your racing heart and my racing heart?  I really don't know.  I am relieved to know I checked out so well.  Now I can push harder to get back in shape without the worry that I may be hurting myself more.

How are you feeling now?  I forgot how low your hgb got.  I'm suspicious that the low hgb brought on my sx's but we may never know.  Please let us know how you're doing.  Yeah, and be patient.  The above post does pretty much say it well.  Others may be able to run to the finish line faster but we will all get there.  lol

That heading didn't come out right but I tried alady sindog and it seemed worse to me. You guys know what I mean. Sindog you are right. I went through knee surgery 10 years ago and thought I had made a mistake because of all the post surgery problems and rehab got me going. I think I came off of treatment with absolutely no patience and wanting to be me when I woke the next morning. I appreciate you thinking of me and sometimes a nudge from a friend will make you stop and think.

Alady: If I could harness the energy in my head right now I could power a paddle boat on the Mississippi river. I know exactly what you mean. How are the twins doing - I'm sure they are keeping you busy:) Thanks to both of you - Dale

Nice post.

You know, I realized the other day that I hadn't had a zit since I started treatment.  I got one yesterday.  I think my hormones are starting to get irregular again.  LOL

This morning, I woke up and my brain was going a hundred miles an hour.  I think I'm actually witty again.  or not.  LOL

How ya feelin' today, Dale?
