botox ? you didnt go cause you have been so sic ? or is there a reason not to get when on tx ? inever had botox, but before tx and diagnosis,6 months ago i had juviderm injections for lines around mouth, and forehead.its wearing off now !! juviderm is 100 % water based gel.100% natural.my friend is a cosmetic surgeon.just a tip encase you arent suppose to have botox, they say juviderm is better.sorry you have been so sick ! i have been reading some o your post past few days.i just did shot 11 yesterday and woke up with chills, fever, sore throat, body aches.etc.i hope im not getting sick as last weeks wbc was 2.0,and rbc 3.90.last time i had flu like symptoms hours after shot was only after 1st one.im on 24 weeks tx,genotype 2 stage 2 fibrosis.i think im ready for that neuopgen ??????? hope you are feeling much better.is all this sickness from tx ? God i hope you feel better...............oh,and i heard you are not suppose to color your hair b/c it has more of a tendancy to break of and fall out as it is on tx,not to mention chemicals.the worst is highlights,or bleaching i heard a few women say.and do i need my roots done ! but im scared.........i like my hair..lol......feel better......Kathy
hell, I dont know. I color mine so much I don't know what color it really is. I colored colored it when I got it cut. maybe i wasn't supposed to. I looked in the mirror the other day and I have to say that i REALLY miss my botox.
Is there some reason you can't color it on TX? I should be starting TX soon and had not heard anything about problems with coloring your hair? Not that I do of course!;)
I had thick curly hair, a real lions mane, it was falling out all over, in my food etc.. I couldn't sleep through the night without spitting out hair. I lasted from week 15 -22, then slowed down. My hair thinned alot but i still was left with more than many people not on tx. Interesting note, my new hair is thick and straight, and a lighter color than when I started tx. I kinda like it.

havent loss mine knock on the forumn
awesome.... I am jealous! :)
You just made me cry! :) In a fun way!
You must have some thick hair! A friend of mine has been the same ! she knows she is loosing some, because its in her brush.
Mine is fine, but thick, and it is disappearing quickly! The worse is not being able to color it!
I do wig then, scarf and actually haven't really done more than look yet!
Don't shave it! lol
That was cute!
Thanks
Deb
Most people do not lose their hair, many do experience some hair loss that they notice but not others. I haven't lost any hair and I am finished with 20 weeks.
You know, its weird. I just finished week 17. I was thinking it was 18, but I just recounted and apparently I can't even count anymore, because it appears it's just 17. Anyway, I feel like hair must have fallen out, but I just think that I normally have SO MUCH hair, that I could lose three or four normal heads of hair and still have some to spare.
I was actually kind of excited vis a vis the losing of the hair because I've been so sick I can't care for it. I think I may have actually been growing something in it at one point I was so sick I couldn't wash it (a friend came over and washed it for me, lest you all think that I have garden in there now).
But I was SO sure it was going to fall out that I went and got it all cut just above my shoulders in that kind of Katie Holmes thing so it wouldn't be so dramatic when I lost it, and I could just wear scarves after that (I wasn't going to go the wig route, too much trouble and I'm kind of lazy). So I waited, and then... nuthin. So I now have a haircut I hate, and I miss my long hair, and it still looks unkempt all the time because I still can't care for it. Maybe I could shave it and pretend it fell out...
Yep! It is a favorite topic in here! Should grow back after tx ends
