tx question

i just got my geno type test back it's 1a...so my viral load was 5500000..alt and ast was 70and 107...i made a docs apointment for may 29..thats the soonest they could see me...i went on a diet for healthy liver from jane's site about 3 or 4 weeks ago and thats helping a lot.i have pain in my liver but maybe thats just my liver shrinking cause otherwise i feel much better on the diet..still foggy,tierd,fever but not as much as before the diet...i think i'll get another liver function test in 2 weeks cause they don't cost much..i have no insurance and just called "commitment to care"     i asked about help with drugs for tx....the girl asked me what state i was in and how much i made this year...i'm single ( have 7 kids and none have tested positive yet)their older..my x got this back in 70 and it came back about 5 years ago for her..she did the tx and they worked...anyway, i said to the girl on the phone i didn't know how much i made...i asked her how much appox income to get help with the tx...she said she couldn't tell me i had to tell her my income...sorry for the long post but does anyone know about how much the limit of income is for a single person??i'm in maine...thanks..this forum has been great for help and understanding hep....billy

i can only tell you what i know about the income to qualify for assistance, i think it is around 50-60k a year for a family. they do ask for the prior years tax documents. it was more then i thought. you do not have to be in poverty to get it. good luck
