my enzyme level last time i went in was 300+. I now have chicken pox, and never had them before. Im not on TX, its hard to get a referral for a hepatologist around here. My bones feel like they are breaking, and my abdomen hurts. Ive gone to the doc and they said to take some benadryl. i keep asking them if i should b worried, but as usual no one seems to know anything. Im hoping to get some advice from people with personal experience. thanks!

coinfection with HCV and other chronic virus infections (HBV, HIV) often requires specialized treatment but I've seen no references to any specific interaction between varicella and HCV which is why the drs may not seem too concerned. (this won't make the varicella infection any easier to live through). Here's the CDC varicella <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/nip/diseases/varicella">page</a>. I'm sure you can find much more...Probably the only thing to worry about are symptoms outside the expected range (see the treatment page). Also, staying away from aspirin may be particularly important given a damaged liver. Sorry I don't have any specific information to pass on - best wishes for  a speedy recovery.

Thanks. Im fine, just a little freaked out. I live in a shelter with my 3 daughters, all under age 6. Im only 23, and alone, so i got a little morbidly depressed.
