undergoing interferon treatment pegasis and copegasis causing to be anemic how low is too low for my blood count

hemoglobin level is 8.2 was told to stop Ribavirin immediately and inject 40,000 units of procrit should I be worried my levels are too low

the elevated bilirubin is due to the death of the red blood cells, so that is going along with your low hgb.  I think thats right anyway,  
Try reducing the riba not eliminating altogether.
I started out with 1200, now I'm down to 800 due to low hgb, please dont forget to drink lots of water. and get rest

You put Hemoglobin as HGB...
Can it also be abbreviated as "Hb"?

I dont know how far along in tx you are. I personally wouldnt want to stop. I agree with copyman ask doc if you could lower the dosage of Ribavirin.

Your HGB  is rather low. I would ask doctor if you could try lowering riba dose instead of stopping it all together. Best of luck
